Further Information on Counselling in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
Counselling can be useful if you want to explore your feelings and thought processes, and it can be an immense help if you’re experiencing a problem or issue that you want to resolve. Counselling is a form of talking therapy that is driven by an experienced therapist listening to you and helping you find ways to deal with the challenges that you face. We provide powerful, safe, and effective talk-based counselling, as well as hypnotherapy and meditation. We empower people to grow and change in a safe and confidential environment, offering warm support and therapy personalised to our clients’ individual needs. All of our therapy sessions mix the power of hypnosis, the clarity of meditation and mindfulness, and the depths of psychotherapy counselling.
Our Counselor is highly experienced and extremely passionate about her work, she uses different modalities in order to provide a holistic, integrative and humanistic approach. She has had extensive training in clinical hypnotherapy, Cognitive behaviour therapy, Virginia Satir individual therapy, family and couple’s counseling, as well as NLP coaching. When combined, these therapies are extremely effective in helping anyone to understand and manage issues such as anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, assertiveness, anger management and/or grief. They can also be used to increase productivity, memory performance and concentration.
Noreen believes that people already have what they need to grow and heal. Her goal is to enable clients to utilise all of their own inner resources to manage their negative thought patterns and beliefs.
Sessions with Noreen take place in the safe, confidential and pleasant setting of our clinic, and can include your spouse or family members. Prior to the session we ask you to fill out a questionnaire that allows to better tailor our approach to your needs.
Behavioural therapy in Dubai
The principle idea behind behavioural therapy is that our behaviour is learnt and can essentially be unlearnt. This leads behavioural therapy to focus more on the present as opposed to looking back to the past. This type of therapy is therefore best used with those looking to change their behaviour – for example sufferers of addiction or those with a phobia.
Cognitive therapy in Dubai
The way we think often leads to changes in our behaviour, and cognitive therapy looks to reconcile issues where they begin – in our thoughts. The therapy looks to address any skewed ways of thinking that may be occurring, and eventually aims to replace them with healthier, more positive thought patterns.
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) in Dubai
CBT looks to combine both cognitive therapy and behavioural therapy in order to tackle the thought process and the resulting behaviour. Focussing on the present, CBT is a practical therapy that aims to break down problems into smaller, more manageable issues. This therapy is especially useful for those with more specific problems as it addresses each emotion separately.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) in Dubai
is probably the most advanced behavioral technology available for personal and professional success and development! NLP involves the three most important elements that define the human experience. These are, neurology, language and programming.
Virginia Satir Family therapy in Dubai
Designed to improve relationships and communication within the family structure by addressing a person’s actions, emotions, and perceptions as they relate to that person’s dynamic within the family unit
Marriage Counseling or Couple’s Therapy sessions in Dubai
Typically include both partners together but sometimes one partner chooses to work with a therapist alone. The specific treatment plan depends on the situation. Couples seek counseling for various reasons, to gain a better understanding of each other, to improve a troubled relationship or to strengthen their existing bond.
